Teachers' Mentor is now being offered as an "as is" web site. There will be no major changes to the basic part of the site. For a more detailed explanation of why, read What's New.
There will be additions to the Scrapgraphics subdomain of the site which is linked in the right column. Teachers' Mentor will remain active as long as there are visitors who find it useful.
American education has been going through some difficult times. I admire your diligence in continuing on with this very necessary and difficult job. Keep up the good fight.

Things of interest ...
Yahoo! has a new free service exclusively for teachers. I signed up to be notified when I read about it a few months ago. I got an email today (Nov. 30) that the beta version is active. It will let teachers create and share standards-based materials and connect to other teachers. It looks like it could become a very effective tool for teachers. If you are interested, check it out here.
Even though the new kid on the block is social networking, mailing lists are still a good way to communicate with other teachers. A new mailing list was recently announced.
- Laura Candler of Teaching Resources has started a Yahoo mailing list. Just scroll down the homepage of her website to find the signup area. It already has an active discussion in just a few weeks.
If you have never participated in a mailing list, you may want to read my artcle, Mailing Lists, Forums, and Newsletters.
