Lesson Plan Resources
There are thousands of lesson plans on the Web. The quality of the plans vary, but evaluating a lesson plan is a very subjective thing. What works for me might not fit your teachiing style.
Finding lesson plan sites is not my main goal for this website. If you are looking for ideas for a special project or unit, I suggest you use a search engine such as Google to check out the multitude of resources on the web. For instance, putting in the title "Where the Wild Things Are" and "lesson plans" resulted in 312 hits. The sites listed below are just some odds and ends I came across as I was looking for other things.
- 60 Ways to Practice Spelling
- Need an idea to add a spark to your spelling lesson? Check out this article.

The books indexed are those held by the Doucette Library of Teaching Resources, but many of these books will also be available in other libraries."
- ESL Kids Stuff
- Printable flashcards and worksheets along with suggested activities can be found at this site. Although these activities are being suggested for ESL students, many of them would also work with any beginning reader.
